How does the bank evaluate my creditworthiness?

We use a special formula to evaluate your creditworthiness, taking into account various criteria: credit history, relationship between income and expenses, length of time in current workplace, source of income, and other factors. We evaluate each customer individually. Based on this, the bank determines your level of creditworthiness, interest rate and available loan services. If you apply for a consumer loan, the bank checks the information you submit. It checks whether you have the income you say you do, and pays particular attention to whether you have had any late payments registered in debt collection registers at the Bank of Latvia Loan Registry or credit information offices in the past few years. If this debt was more than two years ago, your loan offer will be better than for more recent debtors. This means that everybody has the option to improve their creditworthiness by paying off their outstanding debts.
