What should I do if, for serious reasons, I am having difficulty making payments on an unsecured loan?

If serious complications have arisen regarding the repayment of your loan, and you are no longer able to continue making scheduled payments as stipulated in your loan agreement, we offer restructuring for your current loans by signing an agreement on loan repayment.

To apply to restructure your unsecured loan, please fill in an application here. We will evaluate each application individually, and after processing your application we will send our decision to your email address and via SMS. If we decide in the affirmative, you will have to sign a new agreement in the online bank. On signing, your previous agreement is voided.

Will my monthly loan payments be deducted automatically?

Monthly payments will be deducted from your Citadele account automatically, so you must ensure that you have sufficient funds in your account on the date the payment is taken.

Can I repay my loan early, and does this come at an additional cost?

Yes, at any time and without additional fees you may repay your loan in full early by submitting an order for the early repayment of your loan through the online bank or at any branch.

Can I receive a loan if my income is paid into a different bank account?

Yes, you can receive an unsecured loan regardless of which bank your monthly wages are paid into, and even if you are not a Citadele customer.

Car loan or leasing: which should I choose?

To purchase your chosen car, you can select one of the loan types we offer: car loan or leasing.

Car loan is suitable for purchasing a used or lightly used car. A deposit and car valuation is not required, and CASCO insurance is not compulsory. After purchasing the car, you must register it with CSDD to your name. You can apply for a car loan here.

Leasing is suitable for purchasing a new or lightly used car. It is available for financing from 5000 EUR and has a lower interest rate than a car loan. When you complete the transaction, the owner in the car’s registration documents is SIA Citadele Leasing, while you are listed as the operator. You can apply for leasing here.

Can I receive a loan if I have no official income?

Citadele encourages responsible borrowing, so if you have no official income, we will be unable to issue a loan to you.
