Payments to the United Arab Emirates

To send a payment in Euro to the United Arab Emirates, open Payments in the online bank and select New Payment.

 

When you open New Payment, you will be asked to fill in the same information as for a SEPA payment. As soon as the recipient’s account number is filled in, indicating a recipient bank outside the European Economic Area, additional fields to be completed will appear. If you need to process a payment in a different currency, select the required currency in the window next to the payment sum. 
So that the payment can be processed, you must enter all the fields required. Compulsory fields are marked with a star. Some fields contain a control mechanism which will display a warning if you enter incorrect information. If this is the case, check the information and make any corrections. 

When sending money to the United Arab Emirates, you must enter a Purpose of Payment code comprised of 3 capital letters. This must be entered into the Justification field before entering the payment purpose. For example: “TKT, Tickets”. You must find out the Purpose of Payment code from the payment recipient, and must be written in English. Without this code, the payment will be rejected.

After entering all the necessary information, you must sign and submit the application. Click Next and confirm the payment using your authorisation tool. You can always check your payment status under Payment History. If necessary, you can also save the payment as a PDF under Payment History.
