What you need to know before applying?

If you are not yet our business customer, you can join us without coming to the bank! Now you just have to complete an application on the Citadele’s website. Fill it in and we will deliver the card to you free of charge within Latvia.

To become a customer using an application on the Citadele website, the following criteria must be met:

  • the legal form of the company is SIA (Ltd.), individual merchant (IK), farm undertaking or fishery undertaking (ZS);
  • your company is registered in the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia with a turnover of up to 30,000 EUR;
  • your company is solvent;
  • the company carries out economic activity in Latvia;
  • you have been issued a passport or identity card of citizen or non-citizen of the Republic of Latvia;
  • you have the right to represent the company individually;
  • you have a qualified electronic signature - eSignature maintained by SmartID QES or LVRTC in Latvia.

If any of the above criteria is not met, please visit any of our branches, bringing an identity document.

Please note that when you become a customer of Citadele banka remotely, initially your company account will be limited. The maximum total amount of incoming transactions per month can be up to 30,000 EUR. This condition can be changed upon visiting a branch of the bank.
 

I have completed the application. What to do next?

After you have finished completion of the application, a bank representative will contact you if necessary. If the application is successful and no additional information is required, you will receive the following information in the near future:

  • an e-mail about the successful completion of the application and instructions on how to proceed;
  • an SMS with the login to the Online Banking (if a new Online Banking Agreement was drawn up).

To view the status of your application and detailed information about the services of by Citadele banka you applied for, log in with a secure electronic signature.

After you have been granted access to the Online Banking, create a password with which you will be able to identify yourself by telephone on behalf of the company.

How to activate Online Banking?
If you are a new user of the Online Banking and you need to activate the authorization device MobileSCAN for the Online Banking, go to the section of the website “My applications”

To activate MobileSCAN, log in to the section “My Applications”.

After authorization, you will see detailed information about the company’s application, the services applied for and the activation of MobileSCAN.

In addition, download Citadele’s mobile app from Google play or App store to enable MobileSCAN activation.

After activating your Online Banking, create the company’s password for telephone identification.

Be sure to do this, because if you have questions about your company’s services and would like to contact us by telephone, we will need to identify you as a company representative. When you call us, we will ask for your telephone password and you will have to state it. Without this password, we will not be able to verify by telephone that you are authorized to represent the company and will not be able to provide any information about the company’s accounts and other products.

How to fill in the application?

Questions about filling in the application? See below, we have prepared a short description for you on the steps of completion of an application on the website:

To start the completion, click on “Business customers” > “Become a customer” > “Become a customer” >“Become a customer remotely” and read the basic conditions. Before filling in the application, choose the most suitable type of authorization.

If you have the right to represent several companies individually, select the company from the list for which you want to open an account remotely.

Make sure you enter the correct telephone number and e-mail, as you will receive important information via e-mail and SMS during the application process, and we will contact you if necessary.
If the address of the company’s head office is different from the legal address, when replying to the question “Is the address of the head office the same as the legal address?” select “No” and you will see additional fields where you can specify it.

In the correspondence address field, indicate the address to which you want to receive the company’s card.

In Step 2, confirm your telephone number by entering the code you will receive as an SMS in the field.

Once you’ve verified your telephone number, choose the payment plan that is most suitable for your business.

 

 

Provide answers to the following questions about your company.
Please note that when you become a business customer of the bank remotely, initially the maximum total amount of incoming payments on your account will be 30,000 EUR. You can change this condition by visiting a branch of the bank.

In the section “Summary”, check the provided information. If you need to edit any of the sections, click on the “pencil” and you will be taken to the step you have chosen to edit. Once you are sure that all the required information is provided correctly, certify the accuracy and veracity of the data, and go to the next step where you will be able to sign the completed application.

You can download the previously completed application before signing the application. The application will be available later at any time, so you can download it after that.
It will be possible to sign the application with the electronic signature you initially chose when you started filling it out.

What services will I receive?

When applying remotely, choose the most advantageous payment plan for your company. This will provide your company with:

  • a certain number of free SEPA transfers (depending on the type of plan);
  • unlimited number of free intrabank transfers;
  • a certain number of free current accounts;
  • a certain number of free X Business Cards with an account in the first year of service.

In addition, an application for the Online Banking is processed:

  • if you are already a customer of the bank and use Citadele Online Banking with the authorization device MobileSCAN, you will be able to choose whether to use the existing connection or create a new one (a new MobileSCAN license and login will be issued);
  • if you do not currently use Citadele Online Banking or you have another authorization device, you will be issued a new Online Banking Agreement with a new login name and MobileSCAN license.
     

What is the application process?

  • Go to the section of the website “Business customers” > “Become a customer” > “Become a customer” > “Become a customer remotely”.
  • Read the basic conditions.
  • Choose the most convenient type of authorization.
  • Fill in information about your company.
