- You and the third party must fill in and sign the Application for final invoice issuing, noting on the application that the invoice will be paid by a third party.
- Send the electronically-signed application to lizings@citadele.lv, or submit a physically-signed original to one of Citadele's branches. In both cases, you must include a copy of the third party's passport/ID card.
- Pay a commission fee in accordance with our price list.
- Within 5 business days of receiving your application, checking the source of money and the third party (if necessary), and receiving your commission fee, Citadele Leasing will issue a final invoice (all active invoices must be paid) and send it to the email of the third party as mentioned in the application. Citadele Leasing has the right to refuse to issue a final invoice.
If the leased object is registered with CSDD, then:
- Once payment for your final invoice has been received, Citadele Leasing will add an electronic alienation mark to the leased object in the CSDD system to indicate that ownership rights have been transferred to the third party.
- The third party will receive a confirmation email on the change of ownership in CSDD.
- The third party must contact CSDD and re-register their ownership rights within 5 calendar days of receiving the email:
a. through e-CSDD, where, after logging in, you should select: Darbības ar transportlīdzekļiem > Reģistrācijas apliecības saņemšana. See more detail here.
b. in person at any CSDD customer service centre.
Legal persons will also have to pay early payment compensation in accordance with the terms of their agreement.
Bear in mind that the leased object cannot participate in road traffic until registered to the new owner, as the previous OCTA will no longer be in force.
