Sometimes, after repaying a loan, there is an excess of funds in your loan repayment account. If you transfer more money into your loan repayment account than is needed to cover your loan, you should submit an Application for the Repayment of Excess Funds Paid to Cover a Loan Obligation.
You can fill in and submit the application:
- in person at a Citadele branch;
- through the Citadele online bank;
- by email at info@citadele.lv (in this case, you must sign the application with a secure electronic signature).
Submitting the application through the online bank
- After logging in to the online bank, go to Lending and Leasing.
- Under the loan which has been repaid early, select Amend Agreement, and fill in the relevant fields.
Submitting the application by email
To sign the application using eParaksts:

prepare an application, indicating your name, surname, personal code, loan agreement number and the purpose of the application;
- visit eparaksts.lv and upload the application document;
- sign the application using e-Paraksts and email it to info@citadele.lv.
To sign the application using SMART ID QES:

prepare an application, indicating your name, surname, personal code, loan agreement number and the purpose of the application;
- visit dokobit.com/lv/, register for free and upload the application document;
- sign the application using SMART ID QES and send it to info@citadele.lv.
