Sanctions

How do I reduce civil legal sanctions risks in my business operations?

The Bank recommends that its clients, in their cooperation with partners who may be exposed to the risk of sanctions in the future, considering geographical, operational or other factors, in their contracts include a so-called sanctions clause.

Such a sanctions clause should allow the customer to unilaterally withdraw from the performance of a contract if UN, EU, national or US OFAC sanctions affecting the performance of the contract are imposed.
