Bring a friend and use C card without a monthly fee!

  • Tell your friends, family and acquaintances about the C card and give them your special code. Anyone who is not yet a Citadele customer can take part.
  • Receive six months with no fee for each friend who applies for C card with your code.
  • Wait for a confirmation SMS as soon as your friend receives their C card using your code. Your C card fee discount period begins when the code is activated.
  • See your code: 1) in the online bank section under Basic information > Invite friends, 2) in the mobile app by pressing the profile icon in the upper right corner > Invite a friend.
  • Use your offer code for an unlimited number of friends, because everyone you recommend will receive a 100% discount on their monthly C card fee for six months.

General terms

  • Citadele reserves the rights to change the terms of the offer.
  • When you exchange your existing card for a new one, but keep the same account, the discount will also apply to your new card. The offer is valid for C smart, C supreme, C prime, X smart, X supreme, X prime cards.
  • Offer only applies to one card.
  • If the client has several cards, the offer will apply to the card with the lowest monthly fee.
  • Discounts on the monthly card fee cannot be combined. The largest discount available for the card applies.
  • The offer can not be applied for clients with temporary residence permit, foreigner work visa or foreigner students (valid from 01.05.2021).

Is there a limit on the number of friends I can bring?

You can use your unique code to an unlimited number of friends.

Where do I enter the promo code to receive my discount on the C card monthly fee?

Give your code to a bank employee via the app chat, at a branch, or on the phone call once you have successfully completed your application via the app. You can use the code once.

Will my discount still apply if I exchange my existing C card for a different one?

If you exchange your existing C card for a different C card, keeping the same bank account, your remaining discount period will automatically continue for your new C card.

Can existing clients who apply for an C card using a promo code receive a discount on the monthly card fee?

No, the discount on the monthly C cards fee is only given to friends who are not yet Citadele clients.

When does the C card discount period start?

Your C card discount period starts when your offer code is activated. If you recommended a friend, you will receive a confirmation SMS stating your discount period as soon as your friend has applied for an C card using the offer code. If you have applied for an C code using a friend’s code, your discount will apply as soon as the code is activated.

Is the code valid for a friend who is not yet 18?

You can recommend that a friend becomes a Citadele customer regardless of their age. The most suitable card for children and young people is C smart. However, C smart cards are already free for children and young people aged between 7 and 21, so these two discounts cannot be combined. Regardless, you as a recommender will receive six months with no fee for your friend’s C smart card.

Can I receive a Bring a Friend discount if I currently have an active no-fee period for my C supreme or C prime card?

If you currently have an active no-fee period for starting to use your C supreme or C prime card (the first 2 and 3 months free respectively), and you have recommended a friend as part of the Bring a Friend offer, your six-month Bring a Friend discount comes into force the next month. For example, if you have been using your card for two months, then your Bring a Friend discount starts in month three, giving you a total of eight months with no card fee.
