Why do I receive a One-Time Password (OTP) from Visa Click to Pay when I enter my email address during checkout?

You receive a One-Time Password (OTP) from Visa Click to Pay as part of a security measure to verify your identity during online purchases. When you enter your email address at a merchant’s checkout page, Visa sends an OTP to your registered phone number or email to confirm that it's really you making the transaction.
