MobileSCAN activation ways

Receiving MobileSCAN licence

If you have never had MobileSCAN

  1. Enter  Citadele online banking
  2. Open Mobile Services on the left side
  3. Familiarise with the information and press Connect MobileSCAN
  4. Open the mobile application on the device, where you want to activate MobileSCAN
  5. Press MobileSCAN in the mobile application and you will be brought to the screen, where you can start connecting MobileSCAN
  6. Press Code Scanning in online banking
  7. Scan the color-code in online banking with the mobile device
  8. Create a five-digit PIN code, which you will use in the future to connect to online banking, and enter it on the mobile device
  9. The activation code will be shown on the screen of the mobile device. Enter this code in the field MobileSCAN Activation Code in online banking
  10. Press Next and you will have received a MobileSCAN licence, the number of which can be viewed in Mobile Services section of online banking
  11. Press Add New Device
  12. Your mobile device will receive an SMS with a number code
  13. Enter the requested code from the code card and the code received in the SMS in online banking
  14. Press Finish and MobileSCAN will be activated!

If you already have a MobileSCAN licence, reactivate it in the mobile application or online banking.

MobileSCAN limits can be increased only in branch offices, except if the device is unsafe.

Important! Limits for single payment in mobile application is 10 000 Euros, no matter how high the MobileSCAN limits are.

Reactivating MobileSCAN in the mobile application

If you have already had MobileSCAN

  1. Open Citadele mobile application and press Log in
  2. Enter your connection username and password and press Continue
  3. Check whether the shown phone number is correct and press Send SMS
  4. Your mobile device will receive an SMS with a number code. If the SMS has not been received within a few seconds, press Resend SMS (this button becomes active 30 seconds after the first sending attempt)
  5. Enter the code from the SMS in the mobile application
  6. Create a five-digit PIN code, which you will use in the future to connect to online banking, and enter it in the mobile device
  7. Repeat the PIN code and your MobileSCAN will be activated
  8. If your mobile device is equipped with Touch ID or Face ID functionality and you want to connect it to online banking, press Connect Now

By activating MobileSCAN in the mobile application, transaction limits are 1000 Euros for single payment and 2000 Euros per day.

MobileSCAN limits can be increased only in branch offices, except if the device is unsafe.

Important! Limits for single payment in mobile application is 10 000 Euros, no matter how high the MobileSCAN limits are.

Reactivating MobileSCAN in online banking

If you have already had MobileSCAN

  1. Access Citadele Online Banking
  2. Open Mobile Services on the left.
  3. Press Add New Device and familiarise with the guidelines
  4. Open the Citadele mobile application on the mobile device where you would like to activate MobileSCAN.
  5. Press the button “MobileSCAN” to access the start activation screen.
  6. Press Code Scanning in online banking
  7. Scan the colourful code displayed on the Online Banking screen with the selected mobile device.
  8. Devise a 5-digit PIN code to be further used for connection to Online Banking and enter it into your mobile device.
  9. Your mobile device will receive an SMS with a number code. Enter the requested code from the code card and the code received in the SMS in online banking
  10. Press Finish. MobileSCAN can also be reactivated in Citadele mobile application.
